Amazing! Amazing people volunteering, amazing high-end fabrics, amazing service if you forgot to buy something and need them to find that fabric and mail it to you, amazing everything. I'm a fabric shopper with over 55 years of experience shopping for fabric (I do occasionally make something too!) and this place is the best ever. I live a ferry ride away but it's worth it to make a trip to the mainland around when Our Social Fabric is open to the public. Really really amazing!

This place is a hidden Vancouver treasure!! For those looking for great deals on fabric and sewing notions with an nod towards conserving the environment, this is the best of all worlds. All the fabric is either donated by the public or clothing design companies so product ranges from your grandma’s tickle trunk to hi-tech polymers. The only neg is that it’s only open for a few hours a week on a Thursday and one Sunday per month.

OSF is my go -to shopping location for fabrics. Not only are the fabrics less expensive, they are being rescued' from a life in the landfill and repurposed by home sewers to a new life. I love this fabric outlet and what they are doing! Keep up the great work

I made a couple of online orders now. I live in Alberta so, unfortunately, I can't just walk into the store. (Although I will make it destination if I'm in the area.) Their online store is very well organized and easy to use. The items came quickly and as described. And on each receipt someone wrote a nice note, adding a personal touch to a digital experience. I also love their business model!

Our Social Fabric
Our Social Fabric (OSF) will always hold a special place in my heart. I started volunteering with them years ago and have since joined the board. OSF receives textile and sewing related donations from a number of different sources and sells them to the public at extremely discounted prices. Every sale has new feature items, that are always much less expensive than what you would pay in a fabric store. Sales are held twice per month and are open to the public. Our online store is open 24/7 and ships across Canada. This is an amazing organization that I will support for a lifetime!
